Giovambattista Scuticchio Foderaro is an Italian entrepreneur, corporate advisory strategist and philanthropist. Acquired the commercial expert title through the first diplomas and certificates - subsequently recognised over the years by MEF as a Commercial Expert, he attended the Faculty of Economics and Business Management at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome, a step from where he joined the family business.
His earliest steps took place during his boyhood, around 2003, when he officially started his organizational and strategy projects in the field of Entertainment, a sort of apprenticeship, between Southern, Central and Northern Italy.
After leaving his studies in 2008, he began his entrepreneurial journey by establishing VR Group, a Corporate Advisory - Management - Trade companies league, today operating worldwide in over fifty countries, developing projects and cooperations between Public and private sectors for EU and non-EU government bodies. During the first years of the VR paths he was hand in hand with the family business, the Foderaro Group, as COO.
Since before the birth of VR Group, he has lived and established branches, companies and projects in the UK, several Maghrebi (NA), Mashrek (ME) and other African countries.
In 2008 Giovambattista began his deep journey with VR - STEERING MEDIA, better known as VR PRODUCTION, a Production and Brand Management organisation mainly working for the Fashion and Luxury Industries; in the years of production and brand management, he became contributor to various magazines and publishing giants from all over the world, among the most important a good part of L'Officiel editions for Jalou Media Group, Condé Nast, Harper's Bazaar for Hearst Corporation and their associates.
Ten years after the establishment of VR PRODUCTION, he structured its Corporate Division to expand Production and Communication activities, mainly in Art. Between 2011 and 2016, Giovambattista expanded the group with three other companies officially forming the VR league today.
In 2011, VR MANAGEMENT, an international mother agency in Model and Artists Management, acquired over the years an important and renowned reputation in the worldwide scene.
In 2015 was founded the firm that now is identified as the first of the group, VR CORPORATENEXT, a Corporate Advisory and Institutional Affairs company, commercial and governmental NATO entity and Global Market Operator of the United Nations, in constant development playing in several countries between Institutions and private sector entities;
in the following year was born VR THE INCUBATOR, founded under the firm of VR Production & Brand Management, to develop startups in Design, Art and Technology.
Among the main projects of his life, as an entrepreneur and pro, a Corporate and Finance expert, during 2016, Giovambattista, with an ancestral love for history and heritage, gave birth to URBE Foundation, a private non-profit organization whose activity finds ideal roots in the work of cultural promotion and historical heritage protection, for the promotion and enhancement of historical-artistic interest assets.
URBE is a project that would have allowed him to help the community protect what is most priceless to humanity: history. The Foundation's mission is to safeguard the historical and cultural heritage linked to Rome and its vast Eurasian history by enhancing the Arts, Cultural projects, Research and Education.
Since the years preceding the birth and formalization of VR Group in 2008, Giovambattista has taken part in numerous Italian and international organizations in several sectors, acquiring leading social and institutional roles. Titled by many chivalric and dynastic orders for merit and activity carried out in the field, took part actively in community and managerial of international organizations, British by adoption and French by affection, from the Order of St. George in the UK to the Burgundy one.
In the activities of speciality and entrepreneurship, he received awards as Best Corporate Advisory Firm Mediterranean by M&A Awards, Thought Leader by Forbes Business Council, Best European Representative Media Content Producer by FTCA International Media Award, First EU Long-distance Autobahns Wi-Fi on Board service project by ANAV (Confindustria) Smart Move Award and other minor awards.
Among the main organizations in which he holds and has held roles in the past and lends his presence as a partner, member, expert and technical advisor are mainly NATO, UNGC, Forbes Councils, Europeana Foundation, IoD - Institute of Directors, ERC - Economic Research Council, IED - Institute of Economic Development, ECA - European Court of Arbitration, UNI - Italian Standardization Body, NDIA - National Defense Industrial Association, ASA - Army Strategist Association, General Confederation of Italian Industry, ADC, Rotary International, WMA - World Model Association, M.A.M.A. - Models Agents Managers Association, Circoli della Libertà and many other charitable associations and foundations, as well as in several different sectors, operating in diversified fields.
Since his boyhood, he has actively participated in social and charity development paths and projects, in the past as in the present, for Telethon, Operation Smile, Don Bosco nel Mondo, the Italian Red Cross, Cruz Roja Espanola, Samaritan's Purse, WHO and various others programs and organizations pertaining also and above all to the life of Christian Devotion and Charity.

Giovambattista Scuticchio Foderaro is President, Founder and Administrator of URBE Foundation, a private no-profit organization whose activities are rooted in the Cultural promotion and Historic Heritage protection, for the patronage and valorisation of Historical and Artistic interests, as well as for the development of activities in the Education in full compliance with Article 10 of Italian Legislative Decree dated on 1997 of December the 4th, No. 460. It intervenes in the key areas operatively connected to the mission of safeguarding the Historical and Cultural Heritage linked to Rome and its extensive Eurasian History: Art, Culture and Education.
The aims alternate particularly from the preservation and valorisation of artistic heritage, public and private assets, from diverse cultural activities such as exhibitions, editorial presentations and debates to joint ventures with the proper project sector organizations.
